Meet Megan Bolger
LCMHCA, LCASA
SHE/HER
Hi, I’m Megan Bolger! I’m the proud pet mom to Cinnamon (my dog), Styx (my cat), and the newest addition, Sage—a 7-week-old puppy I recently rescued, keeping up the spicy name theme! When I’m not spending time with my furry family, I feed my soul by being with the people I love and enjoying my favorite hobbies like traveling, exploring museums, writing, and any activity that involves water. I believe that within every difficult challenge in life, there’s a seed of growth just waiting to bloom.
MY SPECIALTIES
Areas of Expertise
I believe there is no right or wrong way to approach your therapy journey, and I’m here to support you wherever you are along the way. I strive to create a safe space that feels like chatting with an old friend—one who has effective tools to help you tackle challenges. Therapy shouldn't be intimidating; it should be a place where you can relax, be yourself, and let your guard down. I work collaboratively with clients, tailoring my trauma-focused approach using modalities like CBT, DBT, and EMDR, depending on your unique needs. All types of trauma and experiences are welcome here, and I have a special passion for helping those struggling with grief, cultural trauma, or trauma related to chronic illness (either personal or within the family). Let's navigate your path together!

Megan's Story
Drawing from my personal experience growing up with a brother with chronic special needs, I understand firsthand the unique challenges that families face. I have a passion for helping parents—especially postpartum —navigate unexpected life challenges such as feeling overwhelmed, managing the complexities of caring for children with chronic illnesses or special needs, or dealing with perinatal/postpartum diagnoses like depression, anxiety, or ADHD. With a specialization in perinatal and postpartum mood disorders from Postpartum Support International (PSI), I offer a compassionate, understanding space where you can process these challenges, find relief, and develop strategies to move forward with confidence and support.
