Adult ADHD Assessment

This assessment is for individuals seeking a potential ADHD diagnosis. It provides the opportunity for professional confirmation and psychoeducation to help you better understand your neurotype. While this diagnosis cannot be used for legal reasons or disability benefits, it may be accepted for some educational and employment accommodations, depending on the school or employer’s requirements.
What Sets Us Apart:
Any licensed therapist can diagnose ADHD, but our approach is informed by specialized training in recognizing these traits in high-masking adults and populations historically overlooked in diagnostic criteria. We understand how ADHD presents beyond the stereotypes, particularly in women, nonbinary individuals, BIPOC folks and those who have learned to compensate for their traits over time.

This assessment is designed for adults who are curious about whether or not they are autistic. Many of the individuals we work with have spent years feeling different, overly sensitive, or out of sync with the world around them, often learning to mask their needs in order to function. Some begin exploring this after a child or family member is diagnosed, while others are simply seeking language that helps make sense of lifelong patterns. Our approach is neurodiversity-affirming and identity-conscious, centering your lived experience rather than stereotypes. We explore social communication, sensory processing, developmental history, and internal experiences in a way that honors your strengths while providing thoughtful clinical clarity and professional confirmation (if applicable).

This assessment is designed for adults who suspect that both ADHD and autism may be part of their experience and want thoughtful clarity around overlapping and distinct traits. Many individuals recognize patterns of attention differences, executive functioning challenges, sensory sensitivities, social processing differences, or lifelong feelings of being out of sync — but aren’t sure how these pieces fit together. Because ADHD and autism can share traits while also presenting differently, this integrated evaluation explores developmental history, internal regulation patterns, sensory experiences, executive functioning, and social communication in a comprehensive, affirming way. Our goal is not to separate you into boxes, but to understand your full neurotype with nuance, collaboration, and clinical clarity, providing professional confirmation (if applicable) and meaningful next steps.

How do I know which assessment is right for me?

Choose ADHD if your primary questions involve attention, executive functioning, focus, or regulation.

Choose Autism if you are exploring social communication differences, sensory experiences, lifelong patterns of masking, or identity clarity.

How do I know if an assessment with Little Seed is not right for me?

Our assessments are designed for adults exploring ADHD and/or Autism in a neurodiversity-affirming environment. For many people, our process offers meaningful clarity, validation, and support. However, there are some situations where another type of evaluation may better meet your needs.

A Little Seed assessment may not be the best fit if:

You are seeking accommodations that specifically require testing completed by a psychologist, neuropsychologist, psychiatrist, or physician. While some schools, workplaces, and providers may accept our reports, policies vary and we cannot guarantee acceptance for accommodations, disability services, legal matters, or standardized testing.

You are looking for a comprehensive psychological evaluation that explores multiple diagnostic possibilities beyond ADHD and Autism. Our assessments are focused and affirming, rather than broad-spectrum psychological testing.

There is significant clinical complexity that would be better served through neuropsychological or psychological testing. This may include concerns related to severe cognitive impairment, intellectual disability, active psychosis, significant memory changes, neurological conditions, traumatic brain injuries, or diagnostic questions that require more extensive testing.

You are seeking evaluations related to court involvement, custody cases, disability claims, fitness-for-duty determinations, or other forensic/legal purposes. Our assessments are not designed for forensic use, and we do not provide expert testimony.

You need formal cognitive, academic, IQ, learning disability, or executive functioning testing for school systems or disability determinations. We do not provide psychoeducational testing.

You are currently in a crisis situation where stabilization and higher levels of support are the primary need. In those cases, assessment may be more appropriate once additional support and safety are in place.

If we believe another provider or type of evaluation would better support you, we will do our best to communicate that openly and help point you toward appropriate resources. Our goal is not simply to complete assessments, but to help people access the kind of support and clarity that best fits their needs.
Will I receive a diagnosis?
Yes, if you meet clinical criteria.
If criteria are not met, you will still receive clinical clarity, feedback, and meaningful next steps.
What makes Little Seed assessments different?
Our assessments are neurodiversity-affirming, collaborative, and transparent. We use tools that are meant to support clarity — not to “catch” or trick you. We recognize how ADHD and autism often present in high-masking adults and in individuals historically overlooked in traditional diagnostic models, including women, nonbinary individuals, and LGBTQIA+ clients.
Our goal is not to pathologize your experience, but to help you understand your nervous system, patterns, and strengths with compassion and clinical integrity.
Can these assessments be used for accommodations?
These evaluations are not intended for legal or forensic use. They may be accepted for workplace accommodations depending on employer requirements. If you need documentation for a specific purpose, we recommend confirming requirements in advance.

Yes. We offer structured payment plans to increase access while maintaining sustainability.
A deposit is required to reserve your assessment.
