ADULTS & NEURO-AFFIRMING ASSESSMENT PROVIDER

Hi, I’m Kate and I'm so glad you are here! I believe therapy should feel collaborative, affirming, and grounded in respect for who you are—not focused on fixing or correcting you.

I work with adults who are experiencing:

  • Doomscrolling, “brain rot,” or other forms of avoidance and overwhelm

  • Skin picking, hair pulling, and other body-focused repetitive behaviors

  • Executive functioning challenges

  • Motivation struggles and demand avoidance

  • Emotional regulation and big feelings

  • Social difficulties and relationship concerns

  • Rejection sensitivity

  • Body image and confidence challenges

I also provide neuro-affirming assessments to adults across the state.

MY SPECIALTIES

Areas of Expertise

In our work together, I’ll meet you exactly where you are. Sessions with me are warm, collaborative, and guided by curiosity rather than judgment. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as your full self—without masking, over-explaining, or feeling like you need to prove anything.

I use a neuro-affirming, anti-pathologizing approach and incorporate:

  • Psychoeducation to support understanding and self-compassion

  • Supportive, guided discussion

  • Appropriate humor

  • Unconditional positive regard

Together, we’ll identify your unique strengths, explore what’s been weighing on you, and develop strategies that genuinely fit your life. Therapy with me is about insight, accommodation, and building sustainable tools for managing stress and overwhelming feelings.

Kate's Story

As a neurodivergent individual who utilizes a bionic arm, I’m no stranger to feeling different. My lived experience shapes the way I show up in this work and reinforces my belief that therapy and assessment should feel humane, respectful, and empowering.

I deeply value client autonomy and believe each person is the expert on their own experience. My role is to walk alongside you—offering support, tools, and perspective as you gain clarity and confidence in who you are and what you need.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and if you’re here, you’ve already taken a meaningful first step. I’m ready and willing to support you as you navigate life’s challenges with greater understanding and ease.

Outside the therapy room, I love indie movies, I’m a devoted dog mom, punk at heart, happiest in or near water, pizza-obsessed, and a collector of vintage finds. I believe all of these parts matter—and that bringing our full humanity into the room makes therapy richer and more real.
