Hi, I'm Zoe!

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up exactly as you are, explore your identity, challenge old patterns, and begin writing your own story.

As a therapist in Greensboro, NC, my goal is to create a supportive, affirming space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

Therapy isn't always comfortable.

Sometimes growth asks us to sit with things we'd rather avoid, whether that's navigating anxiety, exploring relationships, setting boundaries, or making sense of past experiences. But I believe discomfort doesn't have to mean a lack of safety. You deserve a space where you feel supported as you navigate both.

MY SPECIALTIES

Areas of Expertise

My approach to therapy is conversational, collaborative, and often filled with humor. I believe that building a genuine, trusting relationship is one of the most important parts of therapy, and I strive to create a space where you can show up as your full, authentic self.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, relationship challenges, identity exploration, boundaries, and life transitions. As an LGBTQ+ affirming, BIPOC-affirming, and neurodiversity-affirming therapist in Greensboro, NC, I'm especially passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, ADHD and autistic adults, and people exploring how their identities and experiences shape their mental health.

I recognize that the patterns we carry don't always begin with us. Our identities, relationships, communities, and the systems we navigate all influence how we experience the world. My approach to therapy is rooted in understanding these connections rather than simply focusing on symptoms.

Whether you're working through anxiety, processing trauma, exploring your identity, or learning to advocate for your needs, therapy can be a space to better understand yourself, unlearn patterns that no longer serve you, reclaim your voice, and make room for new possibilities.

Zoe's Story

At first I was skeptical and hesitant to try therapy. There was a big stigma in the black community. I’ve even been told that’s more of a “white people thing.” But it’s not, it’s for everyone who needs a safe space, an outlet, a place to grieve. I lost my grandmother, one of my main caregivers right before graduating high school and attending college.

It wasn't until I had something SO vulnerable look me right in the face, along with some encouragement from peers who cared about me, that I finally decided to give therapy a chance. And even then, I was hesitant. I was still figuring out what therapy meant for me and what it might look like to let someone into the parts of my story I had worked so hard to keep tucked away.

But what I found on the other side was worth it.

That experience shaped not only how I see therapy, but also the kind of therapist I strive to be. I understand that reaching out for support isn't always easy, especially when you've grown up feeling like you should be able to handle everything on your own.

Outside of therapy, you can usually find me playing The Sims, spending time with my fiancé, or hanging out with our two cats, Spock and Kibby.

Ultimately, one of my favorite parts of being a therapist is getting to hear people's stories and witness them grow, challenge deep-rooted patterns, and blossom right where they're planted. Wherever you are in your journey, my hope is that you feel seen, heard, and empowered to write the next chapter in a way that feels true to you."
